Education taught me the fundamentals. Practice showed me what I still want to understand.
Working with real-world data introduced me to problems that are difficult to capture in a classroom alone. It also made me more interested in the theory, methods, and systems behind the solutions I build.

I want graduate study to strengthen the theoretical foundations behind the systems I build, expose me to deeper methods, and give me the opportunity to explore machine learning, AI, and data systems beyond immediate production requirements.
From applied work to deeper study.
My academic foundation and professional experience have given me two complementary perspectives: understanding the ideas behind data and AI, and seeing what it takes to apply them to real problems. I want to bring both perspectives into graduate study and develop a deeper understanding of the methods and systems I work with.
